8th International Conference on Web Engineering 2008

ICWE 2008 - Call for Posters

ICWE 2008 aims at providing a forum for discussing novel projects and welcomes poster reports on ongoing work. A dedicated poster track will provide visibility and a discussion environment for researcher working on emerging projects related to the field of Web Engineering. The submission topics include all areas covered by the Call for Papers of the ICWE 2008 main conference (https://icwe2008.webengineering.org/cfp/). Poster submissions should describe the innovative aspects of the projects, highlighting advantages and disadvantages with respect to related applications.

The submission format (IEEE CS Press formatting style guidelines using 8.5" x 11", Two-Columns format) is the same as for research papers and accepted posters will be published in the conference proceedings. However, poster submissions are limited to a maximum of four pages. To be fair to all authors, the page limit will be strictly enforced. Authors of accepted posters will present their work in a special session of the conference. They will also be given the opportunity to display a poster in a dedicated area of the venue site which will be in a central location with respect to the conference rooms. Throughout the conference, this area will provide an opportunity for authors to discuss their work with other participants of the conference. The format of the posters displayed in this area has to be DIN A1 or DIN A0.
